The European Association of Operators of Toll Road Infrastructures (ASECAP) is organizing the traffic safety campaign on June 24th, which draws attention to the protection of road workers. After several European countries, AKA Ltd. joined the campaign as well.

Kunszállás interchange at km section 102 on M5 Motorway has opened for traffic.
The new Kunszállás interchange, built at kilometer section 102 of the M5 motorway, was opened to traffic on 10th February 2026. The new interchange provides direct access to – and exit from the M5 motorway. We ask drivers to use the new interchange by paying extra attention and to keep the rules indicated on the traffic signs.

For the second year in a row, the European Association of Operators of Toll Road Infrastructures (ASECAP) is organizing the traffic safety campaign on June 20th, which draws attention to the protection of road workers. After several European countries, AKA Ltd. joined the campaign as well.

The traffic speed on the M5 Motorway may decrease from time to time due to scheduled maintenance and operation works. In overloaded traffic lanes, the risk of accidents and periodic traffic jams can also increase, so AKA Ltd. compiled several useful pieces of travel advice for travelers.

The summer operation and maintenance works of the M5 Motorway are ongoing. AKA Ltd. kindly asks road users to exercise patience due to the traffic restrictions caused by the repairs. We ask travelers to drive more carefully, keeping the speed limit on the M5 Motorway.

Road surface repair works will be carried out on M5 motorway in the proximity of Kecskemét between 11th May and 13th June 2022 in the direction of Szeged between chainage 73 and 84. The Lajosmizse weight station will be closed between 14th and 24th May 2022.
