Road surface repair works will be carried out on the M5 Motorway in the proximity of Újhartyán between 11th and 25th September 2023 in the direction of Szeged between chainage 42 and 50. During the road surface repair works, traffic will be diverted at the technical crossings between chainage 42 and 50. AKA Ltd. kindly asks road users to exercise patience due to the traffic restrictions caused by the repairs.
The repairs will expectedly start on 11th September 2023 on the aforementioned section. During the road surface repair works on the M5 Motorway the traffic in the direction of Szeged will be diverted into the fast lane and into the fast lane of the opposite side. Between 13th and 19th September 2023 the offramp of the Újhartyán interchange at chainage 44 in the direction of Szeged will also be closed. Leaving the M5 Motorway will be possible at the Örkény interchange at chainage 53. The repair works are expected to be completed by 25th September 2023. Speed limits of 60 km/h and 80 km/h are to be expected within the aforementioned section. The restrictions will not affect the on- and offramp of the M5 Motorway in the direction of Budapest.

AKA Ltd. asks travelers to drive more carefully, keeping the speed limit on the M5 Motorway. Unforeseeable events may result in changes to the aforementioned schedule.
