Road surface repair works will be carried out on the M5 Motorway in the proximity of Újhartyán between 2nd and 31st May 2024 in the direction of Budapest between chainage 44 and 47. During the road surface repair works, traffic will be diverted at the technical crossings between chainage 42 and 48. Two lanes are available for travelers twice in each direction, except during the installation and dismantling of the diversion. AKA Ltd. kindly asks road users to exercise patience due to the traffic restrictions caused by the repairs.

The repairs will expectedly start on 2nd May 2024 on the aforementioned section. During the road surface repair works on the M5 Motorway the traffic in the direction of Budapest between chainage 42 and 48 will be diverted into the fast lane and into the fast lane of the opposite side. Between 3rd and 17th May 2024, the offramp of the Újhartyán interchange at chainage 44 in the direction of Budapest will also be closed. Leaving the M5 Motorway will be possible at the Örkény interchange at chainage 53 and the Inárcs interchange at chainage 35. The repair works are expected to be completed by 31st May 2024. Speed limits of 60 km/h and 80 km/h are to be expected within the aforementioned section. The restrictions will not affect the on- and offramp of the M5 Motorway in the direction of Szeged.
