Road surface repair works will be carried out on the M5 Motorway in the proximity of Kecskemét between 21st October and 13th November 2023 in the direction of Szeged between chainage 90 and 93. During the road surface repair works, traffic will be diverted at the technical crossings between chainage 89 and 96, furthermore the interchange onramp towards Szeged will be also closed. AKA Ltd. kindly asks road users to exercise patience due to the traffic restrictions caused by the repairs.
The repairs will expectedly start on 21st October 2023 on the aforementioned section. During the road surface repair works on the M5 Motorway the traffic in the direction of Szeged will be diverted into the fast lane and into the fast lane of the opposite side. Between 21st October and 13th November 2023, the onramp of Kecskemét south interchange at chainage 91 in the direction of Szeged will also be closed. Entering the M5 Motorway will be possible at Kecskemét west interchange located at chainage 86. The repair works are expected to be completed by 13th November 2023. Speed limits of 60 km/h and 80 km/h are to be expected within the aforementioned section. The restrictions will not affect the on- and offramp of the M5 Motorway in the direction of Budapest.

AKA Ltd. asks travelers to drive more carefully, keeping the speed limit on the M5 Motorway. Unforeseeable events may result in changes to the aforementioned schedule.
