Road surface repair works will be carried out on the M5 Motorway in the proximity of Lajosmizse between 25th March and 11th April 2024 in the direction of Szeged between chainage 71 and 72. During the road surface repair works, traffic will be diverted at the technical crossings between chainage 67 and 74. Two lanes are available for travelers twice in each direction, except during the installation and dismantling of the diversion. During the works the weight station will be closed. AKA Ltd. kindly asks road users to exercise patience due to the traffic restrictions caused by the repairs.
The repairs will expectedly start on 25th March 2024 on the aforementioned section. During the road surface repair works on the M5 Motorway the traffic in the direction of Szeged between chainage 67 and 74 will be diverted into the fast lane and into the fast lane of the opposite side. Between 25th March and 11th April 2024 the weight station at chainage 72 in the direction of Budapest will also be closed. The repair works are expected to be completed by 11th April 2024. Speed limits of 60 km/h and 80 km/h are to be expected within the aforementioned section.
