Road surface repair works will be carried out on the M5 Motorway in the proximity of Balástya between 8th and 16th June 2026 in the direction of Szeged between chainage 147 and 149 during which traffic will be diverted. AKA Ltd. kindly asks road users to exercise patience due to the traffic restrictions caused by the repairs.
The repairs will expectedly start on 8th June 2026 on the aforementioned section. During the road surface repair works on the M5 Motorway the traffic in the direction of Szeged between chainage 147 and 149 will first be diverted into the slow lane, and then later into the fast lane. At the Balástya interchange at chainage 147, leaving the motorway is possible, but for traffic entering it, a shortened stretch is provided. The repair works are expected to be completed by 16th June 2026. A speed limit of 60 km/h is to be expected within the aforementioned section.
