On the M5 Motorway in the direction of Budapest the offramp of the Szeged south interchange as well as the Röszke rest area at chainage 173 will expectedly be closed between 29th September and 11th October 2025 due to road surface repair works. AKA Ltd. kindly asks road users to exercise patience due to the traffic restrictions caused by the repairs.
The repairs will expectedly start on 29th September 2025 on the aforementioned areas. On the M5 Motorway in the direction of Budapest the offramp of the Szeged south interchange as well as the Röszke rest area at chainage 173 will expectedly be closed due to road surface repair works. The rest area and its facilities remail available for travelers from both the motorway and from main road No. 5 during the maintenance works.
During this period leaving the M5 Motorway will be possible at the Szeged west interchange at chainage 166, where temporarily installed yellow signs guide travelers. Entering the motorway will be possible from main road No. 5 from the direction of Röszke.
Accessing a petrol station next to the motorway will be possible at the Szatymaz rest area located at chainage 151. A speed limit of 60 km/h is to be expected within the aforementioned section. The repair works are expected to be completed by 11th October 2025.
