Road surface repair works will be carried out on the M5 Motorway in the proximity of Lajosmizse between 11th and 19th July 2025 in the direction of Budapest. During the road surface repair works, traffic will be diverted between chainage 71 and 73 and the weigh station will be closed. AKA Ltd. kindly asks road users to exercise patience due to the traffic restrictions caused by the repairs.
From 11th July 2025 due to road surface repair works traffic on the M5 Motorway in the direction of Budapest will be diverted between chainage 71 and 73. The emergency and partially the slow lane will be closed, thus traffic will be able to move on narrower tracks on the slow and the fast lane. During this period the weigh station at chainage 72 will also be closed.
Speed limits of 60 and 80 km/h are to be expected within the aforementioned section. The repair works are expected to be completed by 19th July 2025.
