Road surface repair works will be carried out on the M5 Motorway in the proximity of Petőfiszállás between 3rd and 11th September 2025 in the direction of Szeged between chainage 121 and 123 during which traffic will be diverted. AKA Ltd. kindly asks road users to exercise patience due to the traffic restrictions caused by the repairs.
The repairs will expectedly start on 3rd September 2025 on the aforementioned section. During the road surface repair works on the M5 Motorway the traffic in the direction of Szeged between chainage 120 and 123 will be narrowed into one traffic lane. The Petőfiszállás rest area and its facilities at chainage 122 will remain accessible for travelers, but a shortened stretch is provided for traffic entering the motorway from the rest area. The repair works are expected to be completed by 11th September 2025. A speed limit of 60 km/h is to be expected within the aforementioned section.

Unforeseeable events may result in changes to the aforementioned schedule. AKA Ltd. reserves the right to modify the schedule of the maintenance works.
