Road surface repair works will be carried out on the M5 Motorway in the proximity of Szatymaz between 6th and 14th August 2025 in the direction of Szeged between chainage 151 and 152 during which traffic will be diverted. AKA Ltd. kindly asks road users to exercise patience due to the traffic restrictions caused by the repairs.
The repairs will expectedly start on 6th August 2025 on the aforementioned section. During the road surface repair works on the M5 Motorway the traffic in the direction of Szeged between chainage 151 and 152 will first be diverted into the slow lane, and then later into the fast lane. The Szatymaz rest area and its facilities at chainage 151 will remain accessible for travelers, but a shortened stretch is provided for traffic entering the motorway from the rest area. The repair works are expected to be completed by 14th August 2025. A speed limit of 60 km/h is to be expected within the aforementioned section.
