Road surface repair works will be carried out on the M5 Motorway in the proximity of Kecskemét between 28th July and 11th August 2025 in the direction of Budapest between chainage 88 and 90. During the road surface repair works, traffic will be diverted at the technical crossings between chainage 86 and 93. On the main track two lanes are available for travelers twice in each direction, except during the installation and dismantling of the diversion. AKA Ltd. kindly asks road users to exercise patience due to the traffic restrictions caused by the repairs.
The repairs will expectedly start on 28th July 2025 on the aforementioned section. During the road surface repair works on the M5 Motorway the traffic in the direction of Budapest between chainage 86 and 93 will be temporarily diverted into the fast lane and into the fast lane of the opposite side, thus ensuring two available lanes for travelers in each direction on the motorway. At the Kecskemét south interchange at chainage 91, leaving the motorway is possible, but for traffic entering it, a shortened stretch is provided. The repair works are expected to be completed by 11th August 2025. Speed limits of 60 km/h and 80 km/h are to be expected within the aforementioned section.
