Road surface repair works will be carried out on the M5 Motorway at the Szatymaz rest area located near chainage 151 between 21st July and 2nd August 2025 in the direction of Szeged. During the works the rest area and its facilities will remain accessible for travelers. AKA Ltd. kindly asks road users to exercise patience due to the traffic restrictions caused by the repairs.
Between 21st July and 2nd August 2025 on the motorway in the direction of Szeged road surface repair works will be carried out at the Szatymaz rest area. During this period, leaving and entering the motorway, as well as accessing the rest area and its facilities, including the petrol station and the parking area for cars and trucks, will remain possible for travelers. The repair works are expected to be completed by 2nd August 2025.
Information about current traffic restrictions and diversions will be continuously provided by Útinform on their website www.utinform.hu, and by AKA Ltd. on their website www.aka.hu as well as the operator – A-WAY Ltd.
AKA Ltd. asks travelers to drive more carefully and pay attention to colleagues working in the diversion, keeping the speed limit on the M5 Motorway. Unforeseeable events may result in changes to the aforementioned schedule. AKA Ltd. reserves the right to modify the schedule of the maintenance works.
