Road surface repair works will be carried out on the M5 Motorway at the Szatymaz rest area located near chainage 151 between 14th and 26th July 2025 in the direction of Budapest. During the first phase of the works the petrol station will be closed, but the parking area for cars and trucks will remain accessible for travelers for the entire duration of the works. AKA Ltd. kindly asks road users to exercise patience due to the traffic restrictions caused by the repairs.
Between 14th and 26th July 2025 on the motorway in the direction of Budapest at the Szatymaz rest area during the first phase of road surface repair works, fuel will not be available at the petrol station, but from the second phase of the works the station will be operational. The parking area for cars and trucks will remain accessible for travelers for the entire duration of the works. During this period accessing a petrol station next to the motorway will be possible at the Röszke rest area located at chainage 173 or at the Petőfiszállás rest area located at chainage 122.
A speed limit of 40 km/h is to be expected within the aforementioned rest area. The repair works are expected to be completed by 26th July 2025.

AKA Ltd. asks travelers to drive more carefully and pay attention to colleagues working in the diversion, keeping the speed limit on the M5 Motorway.
