The repairs will expectedly start on 14th September 2021 on the aforementioned section. On the M5 Motorway the traffic in the direction of Budapest will be diverted from the slow lane into the fast lane with closing the slow and emergency lanes between chainage 99 and 106 km during the road surface repair works. Yellow diversion signs and road marking arrows will indicate the designated routes for road users on the temporary diversion section. The repair works will not affect any of the interchanges or rest areas.
The road surface repair works are expected to be completed by September 21th 2021, after which road users will be able to travel on the renewed roads. Speed limits of 60 km/h and 80 km/h are to be expected within the highlighted zone, which we kindly ask to comply with. The restrictions will not affect the M5 Motorway in the direction of Szeged.
